The continued increase in arms exports, report

Despite the Corona epidemic and its economic consequences, the international armaments industry continues to increase its arms sales. According to a new report by the Stockholm Peace Research Institute, 100 world-renowned armaments companies have sold 531$ billion worth of heavy weapons in 2020. The United States is the largest trader in the international arms market. US companies sold  285$ billion worth of weapons, followed by Chinese companies.
