Turkey: Successful test of national naval anti-aircraft gun

The test of the national naval anti-aircraft gun has been successfully completed with the "fire" order of Defense Minister Halusi Aqar.

Aqar, accompanied by Chief of Armed Forces General Yashar Glair, visited the fire field in Qara Panar Tehsil of Konya to test the 76/62 mm National Naval Anti-Aircraft Gun System.

Addressing the ceremony, Defense Minister Halusi Akar congratulated the Turkish Armed Forces on the launch of the National Anti-Aircraft Gun System.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the ceremony via video message. After the speech, the gun was successfully tested with a "fire" order from Defense Minister Halusi Aqar.

Following the successful test of the gun system, Defense Minister Halusi Akar posed with the commanders of the Turkish Armed Forces.

After the fire, Yaseen Aq Dere, Director, Mechanical and Chemical Industry MKE, presented the empty shell of the first shell to Defense Minister Halusi Aqar as a gift.
