Economic Rights
Respect in society is based on economic status. People look at the wealth which is the owner of wealth with respect and those who do not have it, people do not even like to pass near it, respect is a distant thing. All the societies and systems of the world made her economically very weak, except Islam, then this economic weakness of hers became the cause of her oppression and misery. Western civilization wanted to cure this oppression of women. And the woman was taken out of the house and put to work in factories and other places. In this way, earning money out of the house of a woman became the cause of many other evils. In these circumstances, Islam is the only religion that has adopted the path of moderation.
The bread and sustenance of the woman is the responsibility of the man in every situation. If there is a daughter, then it is the responsibility of the father. If there is a sister, then it is the responsibility of the brother, if there is a wife, then the husband is obliged to pay the alimony, and if there is a mother, then the expenses are to be borne by the son. The prosperous man should give sustenance according to his ability and the poor man according to his ability in a well-known way. Seal: It is obligatory for a man to pay the dowry of a woman. The Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an: If you do, eat it with joy and pleasure. Inheritance: According to some religions, a woman has no right to inherit; But unlike these religions and societies, Islam gave women a regular share in the inheritance. For this, in the Qur'an, it is stated that Ù„ِلذَّÙƒَرِ Ù…ِØ«ْÙ„ُ Øَظِّ الْأنْØ«َÙŠِينِ, ie man will get two equal parts of women. (Al-Nisa ': 1) That is, the share of a woman is half that of a man, in the same way, she is entitled to a regular inheritance from her father, husband, children, and other close relatives. Right to property Because it does not have any financial responsibility. Rather, she gets it all.
So all this is safe with him. If the man wants, he has a double share in the inheritance. But it has to be spent on the woman in all circumstances, so in this way, the woman's financial position (in Islamic society) becomes so stable that sometimes she is in a better position than the man. Then she spends her wealth wherever she wants, no one has control over it, whether she gives it to her husband or her children or gives it to someone or gives it in the way of God, it is her own will and if If she earns on her own, then her owner is also the same. But her alimony is obligatory on her husband, whether he earns it or not. In this way, the economic right granted by Islam makes a woman so strong that she is less than thankful. While women are completely deprived of these economic rights.
