Britain and Israel vow to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power
The British and Israeli foreign ministers wrote in a joint article that Britain and Israel would work day and night to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power.
According to the British news agency Reuters, Britain's Liz Truss and his Israeli counterpart Yair Lipid wrote in the Telegraph newspaper on Sunday: "Time is running out, which adds to the need for closer cooperation with our partners and friends to thwart Tehran's ambitions."
A day earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said his country was "very worried" that world powers would lift sanctions on Iran's nuclear program in return for insufficient action.
As negotiators met on Monday in Vienna as a last-ditch effort to salvage the nuclear deal.
According to the Telegraph, Israel and the United Kingdom will sign a 10-year agreement on Monday to work together in areas such as cybersecurity, technology, trade and defense.
